There's no better way to enjoy your favorite oreo cookie than in a donut form. These donuts have crushed oreos in the batter and sprinkled on top of a white chocolate frosting. Not only do these donuts look so beautiful, they taste amazing and are super easy. After making the batter just pipe it into a donut pan, bake, then dip and top. No mess with trying to fry these donuts, they are just like making mini cakes. This is a great chance to eat oreos in a different way as well as snack on the many extra oreos.

What you need: Makes 6-8

For the Donuts

  • 1 large egg

  • 1/3 cup milk

  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil

  • 2 teaspoons white vinegar

  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

  • 3/4 teaspoon salt

  • 1/3 cup light brown sugar

  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder

  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour

  • 4 oreos, crushed into fine crumbs

For the White Chocolate Frosting

  • 3 tablespoons milk

  • 1 3/4 cups confectioner's sugar

  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips

  • 2 oreos, crushed into fine crumbs

What to do:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a donut pan with nonstick spray. Set aside

In a large bowl, whisk together egg, milk, oil, vinegar and vanilla until combined.

Next, add baking soda, baking powder and salt. Mix until incorporated. Add brown sugar and whisk until combined.

Whisk in cocoa powder and flour until a smooth batter forms.

Fold in crushed oreos.

Transfer batter to quart-sized ziptop bag. Seal, cut off one corner and pipe batter into the donut molds. Place donut pan into the oven and bake for 10 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean. Remove donuts from the pan and place donuts on wire racks to cool.

While the donuts are cooling, prepare the glaze. In a medium bowl, whisk together milk and confectioner's sugar. Add vanilla and whisk until smooth.

In a small heatproof bowl, melt white chocolate chips in the microwave in 15 second increments until completely melted. Add melted white chocolate to the glaze and whisk together.

Dunk donuts into the glaze, sprinkle with crushed oreos and let sit until set (or place donuts into the fridge for a couple of minutes to speed up the process)
